Trump and Musk fall into the „radical change“ trap

Trump (and his sidekick Musk) have promised the US people radical change and by that won the election.
But they’re making a tactical mistake: It’d have been easy to pick some low hanging fruits in the first weeks, then prepare some major structural changes for a year, and then execute them so they’re getting into effect shortly before the mid-term election.
But they wanted everything immediately, like they were 20-year-old radicals thinking that previous generations just had been dumb and they could draft a better societal order over night. But usually, the organization of a society — even if it seems to be dysfunctional — at least has some inner consistency, so that changes can cause frictions and imbalances, unless they’re executed consequently so that an new, consistent, balanced state is reached as soon as possible. In other words, if we imagine there was a metric to calculate the state of well-organization of a society, the organization usually is at a local optimum, and between that local optimum and the local or global optimum that shall be reached, there are lots of much worse state of organization possible, and if the transition from the current state to the better state isn’t done properly, everything is fucked up and will require very long to get into a stable state again.

I assume that with the changes Trump and Musk and the DOGE are trying to do — in a rush — they’ll fall into that „radical change“ trap, and destabilize society so much that they’ll have heavy losses at the mid-term elections. I’m wondering if my prediction will hold, since predictions are almost always wrong, especially if they concern the future :-)
